History

1999

The Beginnings

Studio Del Sorbo was founded in 1999 by Dr. Domenico Del Sorbo. At that time, the Internet was in its infancy, the Lira was still in circulation, and the process of European monetary integration was taking shape. The European Union, albeit initially only in terms of currency, and the rapid growth of Eastern European countries after the fall of the Berlin Wall, favoured a substantial increase in international trade relations. The firm's objective was clear from the outset: to offer services to international trade operators.

2000 - 2009

The First Decade

December 1999, in Bari, Dr. Del Sorbo took part in a training project aimed at young graduates. The success of the initiative paved the way for numerous collaborations with training institutions throughout Italy, particularly in the field of international payments. For about a decade, Studio Del Sorbo consolidated its relationships with institutions, banks, industrial associations, chambers of commerce and, above all, businesses, defining its areas of specialisation with increasing precision.

2010

The Evolution

The economic and financial crisis of 2007-2009 led to a slowdown in activity, but also marked the beginning of a process of renewal. The firm began to offer more innovative and specialised services, in line with the new demands of an increasingly complex global market, coordinating structured training and consulting projects with chambers of commerce and the Italian Trade Agency (ICE).

2025

Today

Today, thanks in part to the prestigious certifications obtained by Dr. Del Sorbo from major internationally recognised providers – including LIBF (now part of Walbrook), ICC Academy, Coastline Solutions and eBSI Export Academy – Studio Del Sorbo is a highly qualified partner for training, consulting and specialised assistance services in the fields of trade, export finance and international payments.
